Lombok Island just at the east of Bali. Here you can find many kind of culture, it mixs from Sasak and balinese. Many visitor came every year, from local visitor and from other country.
The capital of Lombok, Mataram itself is a small city. However, it makes a great strating pint for a number of very interesting end enchanting forays into more intertaining ares.
Pura Meru.
The largest temple on Lombok is the symbolic Pura Meru in Cakranegara. This three tiered pagodas dates from 1720 and was built to honor the hindu trinity.
Sukarare
South of the capital is Sukarare, a weaving village.
Penujak.
Not far from the weaving village of sukarare is Penujak, a famous pottery village that fires every imaginable type of pot and tile from local red clay in traditional kilns.
Beaches
Lombok has many beautiful beaches. The most famous one is Senggigi Beach at West Lombok, Kuta Beach in Central Lombok and Kaliantan Beach at East Lombok.
The Gili Island is where everyone goes to dive and snorkel. Clear Bluegreen waters with abundant undersea life attract most tourists.
